We have located a few minute’s walks from the town center and a short distance from major bus and rail transport. Our center is fully accessible and can house up to eight young people 16 years and over. All rooms are furnished to a high standard, as is the common room and shared kitchen. Residents have the use of a high spec computer with broadband Internet access for educational and leisure purposes and can also enjoy on-site computer training up to the New CLAIT standard.
During your stay, we aim to equip you with the necessary skill to achieve independent lifestyles and to this end, all our young people are offered training in many areas such as cooking, personal hygiene, job applications, and form-filling.
We are a friendly center were staff regularly join with residents for trips to the bowling alley, barbecue, and cinema.
